Getting started with Lami-TAG

Ensure your equine is at rest, in a calm environment

Position the Lami-TAG on your equine using the guide line to help place the sensor over the groove between the tendons of the suspensory ligament.

Select your equine from the list and connect your Lami-TAG

Leave the Lami-TAG in place for approx 1 min, before taking the reading

Use the colour coded guage to easily interpret the results

Check any other legs/pulses

Interpreting your Readings

There are three (3) readings you can get from Lami-TAG

GREEN

= Normal reading

ORANGE

= Elevated reading

RED

= High reading

Handy hints

Handy hints of Lami-Tag

Always clean off excess mud and dry leg prior to using Lami-TAG.

Always charge prior to first use (Battery life approx. 8 hours).

Always check for a bounding or thumping pulse. Consult your vet when needed.

If needed, part the hair or feathers over the grove where the Lami-TAG is placed.

Lami-TAG is only to be left on whilst taking a reading and not for extended periods of time.

Align the red line on the Lami-TAG wrap with the groove towards the back of the equines leg
